In this search interface you may select a specific format/medium such as lantern slides, cased images or posters. If you do not make a selection, the search defaults to all Media.

This is where you may search across collections on more than a single criterion, up to six. Please be mindful that increased specificity will increase the possibility of an empty return.

In this interface the fields in the response to your query will mirror the fields you included in your query. Especially in the case of the Creator and Note fields, this information will only be included in the initial response to your query if you included those fields in your query. You can go deeper into any record by clicking on its Call Number.

Nota Bene: because of the complexity and resource-expense of multiple-criterion search across dozens of databases the present interface searches only the Description field (of all possible note fields). This means that your returns may be fewer than those in a comparable Keyword Search. If you are searching with particular focus on the Note field, and wish to query all possible Note fields from the outset, please go back and use the simple Keyword Search to assure that you maximize your return.

If you searching on a year or a range of years, please enter the year in YYYY format. Sorry to say that you cannot search on months or days in the present interface.
