Biographical / Historical

Engin Ozendes began researching the history of Turkish photography in 1974. Her articles on this subject have been published in numerous newspapers, magazines and encyclopedias. She has served as a jury member for many photographic competitions, and delivered lectures. In 1990 she was awarded the title Excellence Fiap (ESFIAP) by the Federation Internationale de L'Art Photographique (FIAP) for her services to photography. Between June 2004 - May 2011 she worked as Curator of Photography Exhibitions at Istanbul Museum of Modern Art. She curated many photography exhibitions internationally.
