Marion Eugenie Bauer (1887-1955) was a composer and teacher, born in Walla Walla,
Washington, and became the first woman faculty member of the Music Department at New
York University. The papers consist of unpublished manuscripts of Bauer's proposed
books, articles, and speeches. Some published material and biographical information
is included.
