The records are those kept by the IFC secretary from its inception in 1956 through
its final dissolution in 1970. The bulk of the records are from 1956 through 1969.
In 1967, an IFC self-study recommended that the IFC's role be re-examined. In 1970,
it was dissolved and superceded by a Committee on Faith and Life at NYU, established
under the Office of Student Affairs.
