Abstract: |
The DeWitt Clinton papers date from 1826 and 1827 and contain two letters from New
York Governor Clinton regarding Leffert Lefferts's desire to resign as a judge from
the Kings County Court, and a letter from Clinton to John Wyckoff, Sheriff of Kings
County, regarding Wyckoff's expenses. They also contain an 1828 letter from C.A. Clinton
to Charles P. Harrison regarding an engraving of DeWitt Clinton, and a scrap showing
the engraving.
