Original issues from Volumes 1 and 2 of Guy Pierrepont's Weekly Society Bulletin are in very fragile condition and should not be used unless the provided preservation photocopies will not suffice for the researcher's purpose.
Otherwise this collection is open to researchers without restriction.

Processing Information
Originally minimally processed to the collection level, this collection was reprocessed to the folder level in 2022. The archivist discovered that many of the materials in the collection could not strictly be called newsletters and removed them to more appropriate composite collections such as the Brooklyn ephemera collection (ARC.272) and Brooklyn Playbills and Programs (BCMS.0041). In addition, newsletters related to schools were removed to the Brooklyn schools collection (1985.054). Newsletters from the Brooklyn ephemera collection (BCMS.0007) were incorporated into this collection.
