This collection contains records relating to the 137th Regiment of the New York State Militia, based in the town of Huntington, Long Island and led by Major and Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Harrison. Items mostly include orders instructing officers to prepare their soldiers for various military parades, including lists of soldiers to be called, and reports on delinquent soldiers who were absent from the parades. Other documents pertain to a court-martial proceeding for delinquent soldiers, which Thomas Harrison conducted. All items date from 1826.
