This collection contains papers dated 1874 to 1899 of Joseph Kelly of Crown Heights, Brooklyn and his son, Franklyn.

Biographical note

Joseph Kelly married Ellen L. Haggarty and lived at 490 Classon Avenue in Brooklyn, N.Y. Their son, Franklyn, was appointed administrator for the estate of Ellen's sister, Sarah W. Haggarty.

This collection contains papers of Joseph Kelly and his son, Franklyn, spanning the period 1874 to 1899. Joseph Kelly's papers consist of bonds, mortgages, and deeds relating to property on Classon Avenue. Joseph's wife Ellen is also represented in some of the documents. Franklyn's papers consist of letters of administration and receipts pertaining to the death and estate of his aunt, Sarah W. Haggarty.
