Biographical note

George Huntington Fisher (1832-1910) was admitted to the New York bar in 1854 and was a member of the Brooklyn law firm Fisher, Hurd & Voltz. He was a trustee, secretary, and counsel of the German Savings Bank of Brooklyn and director of the Broadway Bank of Brooklyn. He married Emma Chichester (d. 1888) in 1857, with whom he had one child, George C. Fisher (b. 1858). After Emma's death, Fisher married Katharine Weeks. He resided until his death at 84 Broadway in Brooklyn.
