This collection contains bills of sale for the purchase of slaves in Queens County,
N.Y. from 1751 to 1793, prior to the abolition of slavery in New York State. Three
of the six bills of sale document the purchase of slaves by the Wyckoff Family of
Queens County, as well as John Van Wyck.
