Historical Note

The 69th Street Brookyn Ferry Corporation operated a ferry between the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn and Staten Island. Service on the 69th Street ferry had begun in 1912 and continued under various operators until 1964, when the 69th Street ferry was terminated.
