Arrangement

Scope and Contents

The sub-sub-series consists of audio recordings relating to Packer, primarily audio cassettes with a few magnetic tapes, dating from 1946 to 1999. Included in the collection are various graduations and ceremonies throughout the years at Packer. For example, the introduction ceremony for Geoffrey Pierson in 1990. In addition, there are tapes documenting important seminars: ATIS (Association of Teachers of Independent Schools), meetings as early as 1980, NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools), on the role of the arts in education, and yearly NAIS meetings. Copies of a 1977 performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore, and a teacher's clarinet concert are among the series performance section. Finally, the miscellaneous material includes one tape in which the connection to Packer is unclear – a radio show playing music from the 1950s.
