Scope and Contents
The Abraham Samuelson collection of Brooklyn photographs consist of six black-and-white photographic prints dating from 1927 to 1939. Five photographs pertain to the opening celebration for the Belt Parkway in Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, N.Y., 1939. Views of a crowd gathered at an event, of people walking along a shoreline with boats in the background, and of cars parked along a roadside are included. The photographer is unknown. There is also one oversize photograph showing President Calvin Coolidge receiving the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce at the White House, 1927. The photographer is also unknown.
