The Photograph collection of a group portrait of the Flatbush Veterans of Foreign Wars and three studio portraits of unidentified people dates from circa 1870 to 1933 and contains four items.

Scope and Contents

The Photograph collection of a group portrait of the Flatbush Veterans of Foreign Wars and three studio portraits of unidentified people dates from circa 1870 to 1933 and contains four items. Includes is one small black-and-white photographic print showing a group portrait of members of the Flatbush Veterans of Foreign Wars, taken in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. on September 18, 1933. Also in the collection are two cabinet photographs showing portraits of an unidentified young man and a middle-aged woman with the name "Mrs. Hankins" handwritten on the recto. Both cabinet photographs were produced at Brooklyn photography studios. The last photograph in the collection is tintype that shows a young man seated, dressed in a suit with a hat and cane. It is not known if the people in the photographs are related in any way.
