Founded in 1982 by Jeanette Ingberman and Papo Colo, Exit Art was an interdisciplinary
cultural center in New York City that presented innovative exhibitions, films and
performances that reflected a commitment to contemporary issues and ideas. The Exit
Art Archive includes exhibition administrative files, artist research and records,
events promotional and press materials, correspondence, ephemera, photographic elements,
video, audio, and data storage components.
