Abstract: The Stefan Brecht Papers documents writer, critic, and performer Stefan Brecht's critical analysis of and participation in a wide range of experimental theater and performance productions. The collection consists of research files compiled and created by Brecht in the course of working on his (mostly unpublished) series of books "The Original Theatre of New York: From the Mid-Sixties to the Mid-Seventies." The collection comprises playbills, plays, original artworks, posters, invitations, notes, photographs, media, newspaper clippings, correspondence, articles, books, interviews and other book research material.
