Bidoun is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting arts and culture from the Middle East. Bidoun Projects, the curatorial branch of the Bidoun organization, commissions and manages artists' projects, exhibitions, and events. The Bidoun Projects Archive contains promotional material, printed ephemera, and publications created by Bidoun Projects. Materials date from 2009 to 2012.

Historical Note

Bidoun is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting arts and culture from the Middle East. Bidoun was founded as a print publication in 2004 by Lisa Farjam, eventually expanding to curatorial projects. Bidoun Projects, the curatorial branch of the Bidoun organization, commissions and manages artists' projects, exhibitions, and events.

This collection has not been arranged by an archivist. The materials are arranged in the order in which they were received from the donor.

Scope and Contents

The Bidoun Projects Archive contains a small amount of printed ephemera related to events hosted by Bidoun Projects, including fliers, invitations, programs, and posters. The collection also contains a tote bag, t-shirts, and a few Bidoun publications, including magazines, auction catalogs, and a library catalog. Materials date from 2009 to 2012.
