Abstract

Debra Miller is an LGBTQ activist, singer, actress, performer, and an active member of the New York art scene during the 1980s. The Debra Miller Collection is comprised of postcards, event flyers and programs from artistic performances, and a local newspaper. An excerpt of a theater script is available with written notations from the Arts for Life: A Festival for Nuclear Disarmament in 1982, in which Miller was the stage manager. The collection also contains a photocopy of Miller's identification card as a performer at the Women's One World Festival in New York City (WOW Café) in 1981.

Debra Miller is a performer, musician, actress, and an LGBTQ activist. She was an active performer at the WOW Café in the 1980s. As of 2018, Miller currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
