Scope and Contents note

Brief entries in pocket diaries concerning family matters, weather, social events, playing cricket, politics, finances, fishing, botany, Indian relic hunting, and articles written. Most entries simply detail daily farm activities such as plowing and planting.

Scope and Contents note

Spiritual diaries. Many are unbound, loose sheets. Only the first of these diaries is signed by Caroline Ludlow [Frey], the rest are assumed to be hers. Entries are reflections on religion and particular sermons.

Pocket diary probably belonging to Helen Ludlow. Notes in the back of the volume include a list of daily chores, poetry, and finances.
