Scope and Contents note

This sub-series contains materials from the Washington Square Park Committee, a committee formed to discuss issues related to Washington Square Park. Hayes was a founding member of this committee and was chairperson. The types of materials included are minutes, reports, mailings, financial documents, and press releases.
