Abstract: The collection consists of materials assembled by Anthony W. Robins for his 1987 book World Trade Center. Most of the documents are copies made from the Port Authority Archives; the original archives were destroyed on September 11, 2001. Records include press releases; feasibility, planning, and other studies; fact sheets; artist renderings, maps, overview, schematic, and other illustrations; correspondence and memoranda; timelines and historical background on the project; and promotional materials. There are also transcripts of interviews with Richard Adler, Richard C. Sullivan, Robert Lin, and Minoru Yamasaki; and original brochures advertising the WTC observation deck, building maps and shopping guides, and giving a general background of the building.
