Scope and Contents

Contains the following: Several postcard photographs, two with a written message, and four small snapshots from Haynes's training camp in Plattsburgh (1916); a portrait photograph of Haynes (circa 1916); 22 small photographs from France (January-February 1919); and four pictorial images of Haynes's regiment. Most of the images are captioned.

Access Restriction

The collection also holds 8 nitrate negatives of the photographic prints from France. These are held in cold storage and access is restricted.

Scope and Contents

Contains three tintypes of Haynes's mother, one alone and two with a group of people, along with a 1954 letter from a Dorothy Varian conveying the tintypes to Haynes with some background about them.
