Contains a partial newspaper clipping dated 25 September 1917 on the departure of the First Regiment for Camp Wadsworth, South Carolina; a 1919 postcard with the pre-printed message "Hello- Just Got Back Am Feeling Great Will Write Soon Again"; and an official menu for the "Welcome Home Dinner Tendered by the City of New York . . . on Tuesday, March 25, 1919 to the Gallant 27th Division, American Expeditionary Forces."
