Subseries III.A contains general office files, files kept by BJK on individual colleagues and public figures, and files on particular organizations and institutions. General files include BJK's address books, daily calendars, and letterhead. Notable individuals with a personal subject file include Hillary Clinton, tennis player Althea Gibson, Elton John, Charles Schulz, and BJK's first tennis coach Clyde Walker.
