Administrative Records, 1857-1934
Scope and Contents NoteThe series consists mostly of administrative information from the directors, Mrs. Mary Mildred Sullivan and George Sullivan, of the Nursery and Child's Hospital. Also included, are publications produced by Nursery and Child's Hospital and by Mrs. Cornelius DuBois. There is information on the centennial of Nursery and Child's Hospital. The Nursery and Child's Hospital took over the New York Infant Asylum in 1910. The New York Infant Asylum took over the New York Asylum for Lying-In Women in 1899. The consolidation of the organizations gave the Nursery and Child's Hospital a history of hundred years of serving New York City's poor women and children in 1923.
