Scope and Contents note

This series contains photographs of the interior and exterior of the Exchange shops, Restaurant, and offices at 539-541 Madison Avenue, 660 Madison Avenue, 1095 Third Avenue, and 149 East 60th Street. Many of the photographs depict the merchandise for sale at the Exchange. There are also photographs of board members, employees, and customers. In addition, there is a VHS cassette featuring a 1990 episode of "What It Takes," a local television program featuring the Executive Director of the Exchange, Catherine Dinehart.
