Abstract: A few papers and photograph albums documenting the family and career of Royal L. Haynes (1908-1977), a United States Marine Corps Sergeant stationed at Guam during World War II, who later worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Prior to his military service Haynes headed the 1285th Company, Civilian Conservation Corps, at Camp SCS-1, in Attica, New York.
