Scope and Contents Note

Series II: Monetary Appeals, includes posters produced to encourage Americans to buy the first four Liberty Loans, and the Victory (Fifth) Liberty Loan, as well as other miscellaneous war bonds and war savings stamps. Some of the most recognizeable posters of the era, such as Joseph Pennell's "That Liberty Shall Not Perish From The Earth... " are housed here.
