Abstract: This collection consists of personal family artifacts belonging to Kathleen Hill, including a photo album, travel diary, and publication of The Following of Christ by Thomas a Kempis. The photograph album and travel diary were produced by Kathleen Carmody, Ms. Hill’s grandmother, during a trip made to Europe in 1903. The diary, which contains a narrative of her vacation, also includes drawings, poetry, souvenirs, and postcards. She describes the details of travel, places visited, people met, along with her impressions of the customs and cultural differences.
