Abstract
This collection consists of personal family artifacts belonging to Kathleen Hill, including a photo album, travel accounts, an autobiography, and publication of The Following of Christ by Thomas a Kempis. The photo album and travel accounts document trips to Europe between 1897 and 1903. The autobiography documents Hill's great-grandfather's life in Mohawk, New York and his experiences in the United States Navy in the 19th century.

Scope and Contents
This collection consists of personal family artifacts belonging to Kathleen Hill, including a photo album, travel diary, and publication of The Following of Christ by Thomas a Kempis. The photograph album and travel diary were produced by Kathleen Carmody, Ms. Hill's grandmother, during a trip made to Europe in 1903. The diary, which contains a narrative of her vacation, also includes drawings, poetry, souvenirs, and postcards. She describes the details of travel, places visited, people met, along with her impressions of the customs and cultural differences. The collection also contains a theological book belonging to Ms. Hill's great grandmother, Mary McDonagh, who emigrated from County Roscomman during The Great Famine.
