The Rubin Ehrlich Papers mostly contain military materials and documents belonging to Rubin Ehrlich (1913-2001) , who served in the Lincoln Battalion during the Spanish Civil War.
Historical/Biographical Note
Rubin Ehrlich (1913-2001) was a member of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade during the Spanish Civil War. He also served during World War II in the infantry primarily with the HQ Intelligence Unit.

Scope and Contents
This collection consists of military documents, photographs, and a soldier's cap from the Spanish Civil War. Also includes Ehrlich's U.S. Army discharge certificate, a VALB Christmas Dance program, newspaper clippings, and photocopies of photos of volunteers.
