Scope and Content

Series I: General Files, 1942-1954. These records consist of documents related to the founding of the Joint Anti-Fascist Refugee Committee (JAFRC), and financial reports, correspondence, publicity pamphlets, fundraising appeals and ephemera from the 1940s.  Campaign Bulletin and  Free Spain, JAFRC newsletters, document the political concerns of the organization, both domestically and abroad, and its fundraising activities from 1950-1954.
