Contains c. 50 letters from Spain (1937-1939) written by ALB veteran Coleman Persily (aka Charles Warren, Charles Percy) mostly to his brother Joseph Persily, a CIO organizer in Indianapolis. Also included are a clipping from El Mundo, 1996, describing the veterans' reunion in Spain, and a memorial tribute by Percily's first cousin, Clancy Sigal. The second box of the collection contains various collected clippings and correspondence related to VALB and some biographical materials pertaining to Persily.
