Scope and Contents

Sidney Rosenblatt was a veteran of the Abraham Lincoln Brigades. He was taken prisoner while in Spain, but eventually returned to America and married. He went on to enlist in World War II and died while serving in France. The collection contains letters and postcards from Rosenblatt to Estelle Katz (nee Engel) from Spain in 1937. The collection also contains photos from Spain, some of which were Rosenblatt's and some which belonged to Lincoln Brigade veteran Max Katz.
