This small collection contains the research materials assembled by Joshua Chamberlain in his efforts to identify and write about volunteers in the Spanish Civil War who had come from New Hampshire. The collection contains lists, papers, clippings, correspondence, and notes pertaining to Chamberlain's research. Also included are information sheets on each of the volunteers Chamberlain researched.
