Scope and Contents

The collection includes correspondence between Bernard Entin, veteran of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade and his family and friends. The materials contain letters written by Entin while abroad in France and Spain which date from April to July 1937. There are also two letters from March of 1939 between Bernard's brother, sister, and Jack Small, close friend of Bernard Entin. The materials include a variety of photocopies of photographs of Bernard Entin and family. Included in the collection is also a brief memoir written by Alan Entin, Bernard Entin's nephew.
