Jack Bjoze was a member of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade in the Spanish Civil War. He was subsequently the executive secretary of the Veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade (VALB) in the early 1940s. He also served in the U. S. Army during the Second World War.

Scope and Contents
This collection consists of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and some other federal agencies records about Abraham Lincoln Brigade veteran Jack Bjoze. The records were obtained via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by Peter Carroll in 2007 and date from the 1940s and 1950s.
Most of the records concern the FBI's surveillance of Bjoze and his links with the Veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade and the Communist Party.
