Veteran John Tisa was the author of two books, The Palette and the Flame: Posters of the Spanish Civil War (1979) and Recalling the Good Fight: An Autobiography of the Spanish Civil War (1985). Consists of 3 ink drawings; 6 post scw-era (1940s-50s?) b&w photos of demonstrations, one anti-Franco, the other related to anti-Semitism; 21 negatives of posters; poster data for 164 posters (Palette); approx 222 slides in seven cases (individual, group, battlefield scenes from the SCW) and a guide thereto; 46 negatives with accompanying list.
