One scrapbook (measuring 14"x11" x 1.5") of photographs of battlefields and soldiers and civilians during the Spanish Civil War--assembled by Ben Katine of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade (one of the photographers of the Photographic Unit of the 15th International Brigade) and 38 loose photographs (some of which may have originally been in the scrapbook, since some have glue marks on their backs), donated by Katine's family. Photographs are black and white prints ranging from 2 1/4" square to 5" x 7". The scrapbook contains 23 pages, with photographs on both sides (= 64 pages of photographs); the rest of the pages are blank. Many of the photos are labeled and typed commentary on battles at Ebro, on the Aragon front and Teruel is also included within the scrapbook.
