Steamfitters' Local 638 is a subsidiary of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada that is headquartered in Long Island City, New York. This collection consists of photographic negatives and prints of classes and staff members at the Steamfitters' Local 638 Industry Training Center in Long Island City. Photographs were taken by Werner Ulrich, the center's Director of Education.
