Historical/Biographical Note

The People's Coalition for Peace and Justice was formed in 1970. It was a multi-issue coalition including various radicals (but not Trotskyists) and pacifists. It primarily opposed United States involvement in the Vietnam War but also supported struggles for civil rights and liberties.
