Carole Turbin was a feminist activist in New York City in the 1960s and 1970s. She is also the author of Woman's Work and Woman's Rights (1978).
Scope and Content Note
The collection contains feminist and socialist-feminist materials produced by various organizations from the late 1960s through the mid-1970s, including essays, meeting notes, reports, membership lists, and printed ephemera. Several periodicals and pamphlets have been separated for cataloging. There are nine folders: Congress to Unite Women; Essays; The Feminist Press; New York Radical Feminists (includes membership lists); Redstockings: Socialist-Feminist Groups; The Women's Center (New York City); Women's National Abortion Campaign.
