Abstract
Neil Basen, formerly Assistant Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, conducted research on leading U.S. socialist women of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This collection contains a small portion of Neil Basen' correspondence with other scholars, descendants of several of these women, and clippings by and about these women, who are: Mary Beals, Viola Coche Dietz, Ida Crouch Hazlett, Luella Krehbiel, and Anna Maley.
