Historical/Biographical Note

Herbert M. Morais (1905-1970) was an historian and co-author of Labor's Untold Story (1955). He taught at Brooklyn College but left in the 1940s after being investigated for his allegedly Communist political associations, and became a member of the Research Division of the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers Union, CIO (UE).
