Scope and Contents

The Tamiment Library and Robert F. Wagner Labor Archives Collection of United States Politics and Government Serials contains over 300 titles on politics in the United States (US) and on federal, state, and local governments in the US. The collection dates between 1898 and 2013, with the bulk of the material dating from the 1940s through 1980s. Topics include issues in the Democratic and Republican parties, libertarian politics, Puerto Rican independence movements, and elections at all levels of government. The collection includes newsletters published by members of the US Congress, members of the People's Party, discussion of presidential elections in the 1970s and 1980s, and issues of race in politics. Large runs of titles include The National Alliance,  The New Federalist, and  In Fact.
