The Tamiment Library and Robert F. Wagner Labor Archives Collection of Civil Rights
Serials contains over 240 titles on civil rights and civil liberties in the United
States (US) and Europe in the 20th century. The collection dates between 1923 and
2010, with the bulk of the material dating from the 1960s through the 1970s. Topics
include the civil rights movement in the US in the 1960s, issues surrounding civil
liberties for racial and religious minorities in the US and Europe in the mid to late
20th century, and the work of the American Civil Liberties Union in these areas.
