Abstract: The collection contains documents related to the New York City based organization Asia Labor Resource Center. It contain a number of research materials on Asian-American labor relations in New York City, Boston, and California. These materials consist of subject files; which include clippings, printed material and correspondence; relating to immigration, labor, women's issues, Asian student organizations, and health services. Other files in this collection contain minutes and administrative materials from the Asian Labor Resource Center, including materials relating to the First and Second Asian Labor Conferences at Cornell University (1988-1989). Many of the materials in this collection were created by Asian Labor Resource Center organizer and labor activist May Chen.
