Abstract: |
New York Labor History Association (NYLHA) was founded in 1976 by trade unionists,
academics, students, archivists, educators, labor editors, attorneys, and retirees,
mostly from New York State. NYLHA encourages the study of workers and their organizations
and serves as a bridge between past and present labor unionists and academics. This
collection consists of materials created and collected by NYLHA documenting their
actvities from the 1970s through the 2000s. Materials include correspondence, issues
of the Work History News newsletter, conference recordings, electronic versions of documents, an archived
version of the organization's website, and papers, photographs, programs, flyers,
and other materials concerning NYLHA events.
