Processing Information

At the time of accessioning, physical materials were moved into archival housing, retaining original groupings. Materials were arranged alphabetically by subject or material, and were placed in new acid-free folders.

Two hard drives were forensically imaged and described in ArchivesSpace. New York University Libraries follow professional standards and best practices when imaging, ingesting, and processing born-digital material in order to maintain the integrity and authenticity of the content.

In 2017 additional videos contained on a hard drive donated in 2015 were added to the collection. At the time of accessioning the archivist created a disk image of the drive and described the videos in the file list. These files have been integrated into the existing arrangement of the collection.
