Abstract
Deeds documenting transactions among members of the Cornell family for land along the East River in Brooklyn, dating from 1784 to 1792. Isaac Cornell (d. 1824) purchased a large tract of land from the heirs of Jacob Sebring in 1784. A year later, he sold one-third of the shares to his brothers, John (1753-1820) and William (ca. 1755-1820). In 1787, Isaac sold William an additional portion, and in 1792 John purchased all tracts belonging to his brothers.
